Our seasonal classes are constructed to help your body-mind re-harmonise itself to the seasons. The practice changes with the seasons to reflect the challenges and issues relevant to the specific time of year.
Each seasonal block runs for 8 weeks. The classes at the beginning of a block are relatively easy and build in difficulty over the 8 weeks. If you are a beginner this is an option for you.
Classes are held twice week on Tuesday and Thursday mornings 6.00 a.m. till 7.15 a.m.
Students usually sign up for a block and attend both classes. Casual attendance may be possible (email or call 9555-7544)

A block costs $200 for 2 classes/week.
You will need to pay a $50 deposit with the balance payable at the first class.
Mats are available for $25.

WHY SEASONAL CLASSES?
In today's world; 24/7, sedentary living, air-conditioning, and where takeaway food can be the order of the day, it is easy to loose connection with the natural rhythm of the seasons.
"So what?" you may ask.
The human race is a product of its environment. For the majority of our history we have lived a life that was more connected and dictated to by the natural rhythm of the environment. The impact of different seasons and the change of seasons on health was well known in the likes of India and China. These and other cultures developed rituals to harmonise the body to these changes. For example, most religions in the world, including Christianity, incorporate ritual fasts at important seasonal juncture points.
We are now living lives that our bodies were not designed for and the results are all too clear. Stress, obesity, type 2 diabetes, heart disease are diseases of the modern western economic culture.
