OUR APPROACH
We practice Ashtanga Yoga derived from the work of T. Krishnamacharya and his main students.

In addition to group yoga classes we also offer one-to-one yoga, specialised Prenatal yoga and Kids yoga classes.

Our group level classes use dynamic vinyasa to link the practice. Vinyasa provide a number of benefits over static practice.
- facilitate connection to breathing
- apply appropriate counter-poses to balance the practice
- build and maintain heat and circulation to open the body and improve digestion and elimination
- develop full body and core strength and flexibility quickly
- maintain a quality of flow and sustained concentration to the practice.

We have a strong focus on physical alignment in the practice - this not only protects joints - it provides the support and focus for the breath and the mind.

Our approach to alignment is strongly influenced by the universal principles of alignment pioneered by Anusara Yoga. The efficacy of these principles are one of the main reasons that this has been the fastest growing form of yoga in the USA over the last few years.
